So basically be heard radio is an online radio for unsigned artists. 2 of my friends and I got together to build this site. I did the design work and some of the coding, one of my friends worked on the backend code mainly and helped with a bit of design, and my other friend is in charge of our servers. Keeping the Spam Out! I wish I thought of this earlier. I just put in a captcha into my commenting boxes because I was getting spammed left and right. Now I can keep my blog clean and hopefully not get spammed by all these online bots. If you’re a blog owner I definitely recommend you do this as well, and if you’re using wordpress a great plugin is called reCaptcha. I’m really interested in enhancing my knowledge. I love learning new things especially on the computer. My  goal is to learn the coding language Objective-C because I really want to create my own iOS app. I’ve been watching a lot of tutorials and I’ve now got the basics of coding down. I started with learning some Javascript. I think that’s a great place to start since it’s one of the basic languages. It was a great place to learn about variables, strings, arrays, functions, and other aspects of coding. I’m .

Logos, logos, and more logos. I’m currently in charge of at least 700 logos. Each logo needs to be converted into different sizes and formats to be used in different places. Having to convert each logo manually by hand would be a gruesome task for anyone. Well thank God for the creation of Photoshop Actions and Image Processing. These 2 things helped me cut my conversion time from days worth of work to hours or even mins worth of work. I know there are other batch processing programs out there, but I really like how well photoshop handles.

Hey Everyone! I took on a new job with Cablevision as a web designer. I’m pretty psyched to be working there since I’m doing more of what I like. Working on the web is the place to be! Oxford was a great place to work, I met some great people, and I’ll never forget it. I’ll definitely miss all my co-workers since they helped make me the designer I am today especially our creative team! I hope to learn more and gain a lot of experience while I’m here.
